Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years experience working in a food and beverage supervisory role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have excellent attendance and reliability
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
  • Ability to supervise the work of others
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to doors
  • Provide high level of oversight and operational expertise resulting in smooth, efficient and profitable execution of events
  • Train new and current employees regarding property procedures and best practices
  • Cover or back-up any open position to assure location is fully operational and company standards pertaining to speed of service and guest satisfaction are met
  • Assist with Premium Services operations and event needs, as directed
  • Ensure work environment is safe and free from harassment or discrimination and immediately address all safety concerns, potential hazards, accidents or incidents
  • Ensure event staff and volunteers are aware of workplace expectations and provide ongoing assistance, training and mentoring
  • Obtain working knowledge of all existing concession locations including geographical locations, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access
  • Assist in recording guest orders and relaying the order to the kitchen via P.O.S. system
  • Observe guests to respond to additional requests and determine when meals are completed
  • Compute cost of meals and present guests with checks, accept payments and provide change
  • Recommend certain dishes and explain ingredient preparation
  • Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance
  • Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to events
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Practice excellent human resources skills including employee relations, corrective action, coaching and counseling
  • Assist management with training, inventory and special events
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
