Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven runner/bar back experience in a fast-paced environment
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to build rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Retrieve all needed food items from kitchen and deliver to bar area
- Retrieve all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver to bar area
- Set up bottles on bar with top shelf liquor on back shelf
- Ensure beer taps are working properly
- Place appropriate bar snacks on counter and keep supplies stocked throughout shift
- Assist in opening and closing side work as assigned
- Bus tables in bar area
- Help ensure cleanliness and tidiness of bar or lounge areas including washing work tables, walls, refrigerators, floors, sweeping and mopping service areas
- Ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles
- Prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist bartender
- Perform other duties as assigned
