Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in fast-paced kitchen or food service environment beneficial
- Food handling certification as required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical job duties
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and event days
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Cook and package food product to order or keep warm until sold
- Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
- Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items ensuring freshness
- Control portion sizes and serving temperatures for products served
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
- Clean work areas and equipment, properly store food products, and maintain sanitation standards
- Ensure work area meets cleanliness standards at end of shift as checked by Floor Supervisor
- Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen environment
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and teamwork
