Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in fast-paced kitchen or food service environment beneficial
  • Food handling certification as required by state or federal regulations
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical job duties
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and event days

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Cook and package food product to order or keep warm until sold
  • Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items ensuring freshness
  • Control portion sizes and serving temperatures for products served
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
  • Clean work areas and equipment, properly store food products, and maintain sanitation standards
  • Ensure work area meets cleanliness standards at end of shift as checked by Floor Supervisor
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen environment
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and teamwork
