Job Requirements

  • Ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for alcoholic beverage service
  • Ability to verify guest IDs for age requirements
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Ability to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and know various beer, wine, and spirit varieties and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guests' IDs to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Request additional product or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for the bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as assigned
