Job Requirements
- Ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for alcoholic beverage service
- Ability to verify guest IDs for age requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- Learn and know various beer, wine, and spirit varieties and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
- Check guests' IDs to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Communicate cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- Request additional product or restock product as required
- Handle cash accurately and be responsible for the bar bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as assigned
