Job Requirements

Must be at least 20 years of age and legally eligible to serve alcohol in the state of Kentucky
previous bartending experience in a concession, event, or hospitality setting preferred
must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/push up to 50lbs
availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
valid Fayette County Food Handler's License required prior to first scheduled shift
Kentucky Horse Racing Commission license will be provided upon hire

Job Qualifications

Previous bartending experience in a concession, event, or hospitality setting preferred
must be at least 20 years of age and legally eligible to serve alcohol in the state of Kentucky
strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, drink presentation, and bar operations
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Job Duties

Greet guests promptly and courteously
prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standardized recipes and venue policies
practice safe and responsible alcohol service in compliance with Kentucky state laws and Keeneland policies
handle all transactions accurately using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system
maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including stocking supplies, garnishes, and glassware
monitor guest behavior and respond appropriately to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience
communicate effectively with concession and supervisory staff to coordinate service and resolve issues
