Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • Four years of related office work experience
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events and manage competing deadlines
  • Experience providing work direction to staff and volunteers
  • Ability to communicate professionally with diverse groups
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work additional hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of related office work experience
  • Experience coordinating operations in retail, concessions, or food-service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise staff
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

Job Duties

  • Coordinate concession operations and volunteer activities for university events
  • Provide lead direction and training to student employees and classified staff
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, and high-volume service operations
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences including staff, volunteers, clients, and campus partners
  • Plan, execute, evaluate, and report on projects related to concessions and commencement
  • Collaborate with university departments to enhance patron experiences
  • Resolve operational issues proactively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
