Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to work in the concession stand
- Must have the ability to lift items of 50 lbs. or more several times per shift
Job Qualifications
- Customer service and friendly public interaction
- Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system use
- Food and beverage preparation and handling
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Multitasking and time management skills
- Clear communication and teamwork
- Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines
- Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items
Job Duties
- Sell and stock concession products to lake and park guests
- Serve concessions and maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Prepare food in a safe and clean manner and maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety with food preparation, equipment and dispensers
- Receive deliveries of concession products
- Be at the facility in uniform and ready to work at the designated start of work shift
- Excellent customer service skills
- Assist with nightly deposits and close down procedures
- Wash machines and utensils nightly
- Restock concessions nightly for next day
- Sweep and wash floors nightly
- Maintain and clean building, restrooms and grounds around lake building
- Rake woodchips and pick up litter in lake area as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
