Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 18 or over
  • Experience working as a cook in a fast-paced food environment
  • Possess valid food handling certificate if required by regulations or be willing to obtain within 60 days
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Friendly positive attitude
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service and coworker interaction
  • Maintain personal appearance and hygiene according to company policy
  • Cook and pack food product prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Manage portion control and serving temperatures of food
  • Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest food requirements
  • Maintain quality and production standards for all menu items
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays
  • Request additional product timely to avoid shortages
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of all food products and utensils
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance
