Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to prepare and sell alcoholic beverages
  • Able to stand and walk for 6 hours
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Able to work overtime, late hours, holidays if needed
  • Must wear appropriate uniform at all times
  • ABC "LEAD" certified preferred
  • Food handlers' card
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during CCAE functions
  • Pouring sodas, beer, wine, bottled water, and other beverages
  • Providing excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Counting cash accurately and making correct change quickly
  • Understanding and ensuring all state and federal alcohol serving policies are followed
  • Adhering to all laws, rules, regulations pursuant to California Alcohol and Beverage Control
  • Stocking items as needed
  • Setting up, cleaning, and breaking down workstations
  • Assuring the proper handling and cleaning of all equipment
  • Ensuring all sanitation procedures are followed pursuant to state and local regulations as well as OSHA requirements
  • Maintaining and balancing individual cash banks
  • Following all designated opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure, energy efficient, and sanitary
  • Following all sanitation procedures including safety guidelines and OSHA requirements
  • Attending all safety meetings as required by management
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
