Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
- Basic geography knowledge preferred
- Detailed organizational skills
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to think quickly and react with urgency
- Ability to remain calm during adverse conditions
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
Job Qualifications
- LCB or Certified Customs Specialist preferred
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
- Basic geography knowledge preferred including locations of US States and Canadian Provinces with major cities
- Detailed organizational skills
- Solid communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to think and react quickly with a sense of urgency to time-sensitive problems
- Ability to remain calm during adverse conditions
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute
Job Duties
- Research classification, ADCVD, PGA, 19CFR issues
- Troubleshoot entry questions, failures, rejects through research and communication with CBP ABI Representatives
- Write and submit Post Summary Corrections through ABI system or Protests through ACE Portal
- Discuss, complete and submit surety bonds
- Approve and submit billing
- Prepare shipper's insurance and approve and submit billing
- Develop and implement reporting functions in operating system to manage statement and entry related data
- Perform other duties as assigned
