Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3-4 years in a group sales manager role within a large hotel
- ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes
- must reside in the Midwest or Northeast area and live near a major airport
- comfortable working remote
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- availability for extensive travel
- willingness to work a flexible schedule

- proficiency in sales pipeline and lead management software
- demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- experience with conducting site inspections and customer engagement
- proven ability to develop and execute business plans
Job Duties
- Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales and intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the hotel
- develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry trade shows and customer events
- develop, execute and communicate monthly, quarterly and annual business plans for a designated market
- maintain up-to-date pipeline of business opportunities that meet short- and long-term objectives
- represent the hotel in all sales interactions including creating business proposals and executing contracts
- conduct site inspections through masterful storytelling with prospective and existing customers
- coordinate customer specifications via lead management system and maintain booking information according to standards
- research, solicit and generate new leads for business opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts
- negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end user customers and intermediaries
- provide solutions that achieve financial goals while strengthening customer relationships
