Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years in a group sales manager role within a large hotel
  • ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes
  • must reside in the Midwest or Northeast area and live near a major airport
  • comfortable working remote
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • availability for extensive travel
  • willingness to work a flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-4 years in a group sales manager role within a large hotel

  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to work remotely
  • strong negotiation skills
  • proficiency in sales pipeline and lead management software
  • demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • experience with conducting site inspections and customer engagement
  • proven ability to develop and execute business plans

Job Duties

  • Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales and intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the hotel
  • develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry trade shows and customer events
  • develop, execute and communicate monthly, quarterly and annual business plans for a designated market
  • maintain up-to-date pipeline of business opportunities that meet short- and long-term objectives
  • represent the hotel in all sales interactions including creating business proposals and executing contracts
  • conduct site inspections through masterful storytelling with prospective and existing customers
  • coordinate customer specifications via lead management system and maintain booking information according to standards
  • research, solicit and generate new leads for business opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts
  • negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end user customers and intermediaries
  • provide solutions that achieve financial goals while strengthening customer relationships
