Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of hotel sales, catering or event sales experience required
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Ability to maintain client relationships
  • Regular attendance required

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to manage complex events
  • Proven ability to build client relationships
  • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions
  • Demonstrated sales and upselling skills
  • Experience supporting event planning and execution processes

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Timely communication with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate while handling complaints and disputes
  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
  • Ensure high-quality service by directing and coaching staff
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist in the sales process
  • Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
  • Maintain regular attendance
