Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of hotel event management or conference service experience
- Experience working with big box to mid-level hotel size properties
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc is preferred
- Flexible schedule
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, hotel departments, and customers
- Strong problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of hotel event management or conference service experience
- Experience working with big box to mid-level hotel size properties
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc is preferred
- Proficient in creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage complex events and client relationships
Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
- Sell and influence both internal and external clients
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution
- Ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs and provide direction and guidance
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
- Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
- Maintain regular attendance
