Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of hotel event management or conference service experience
  • Experience working with big box to mid-level hotel size properties
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc is preferred
  • Flexible schedule
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, hotel departments, and customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of hotel event management or conference service experience
  • Experience working with big box to mid-level hotel size properties
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc is preferred
  • Proficient in creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex events and client relationships

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution
  • Ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs and provide direction and guidance
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
  • Maintain regular attendance
