Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality sales or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel for outside sales calls and industry events
  • Proficiency in sales database and lead management software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet target sales goals

  • Proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry

  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop business strategies
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Competency in customer and account management
  • Familiarity with sales and booking management systems such as Delphi FDC

Job Duties

  • Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts
  • Represent the hotel in the development of market segments and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations
  • Develop a business strategy by analyzing hotel and market trends and implementing marketing initiatives
  • Apply strong sales skills to create customer value and differentiate Hilton from competitors
  • Demonstrate mastery of prospecting process, identify potential customers and prepare call strategies
  • Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate customer specifications via lead management systems
