Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality sales or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel for outside sales calls and industry events
- Proficiency in sales database and lead management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet target sales goals

- Proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop business strategies
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Competency in customer and account management
- Familiarity with sales and booking management systems such as Delphi FDC
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment
Job Duties
- Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts
- Represent the hotel in the development of market segments and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations
- Develop a business strategy by analyzing hotel and market trends and implementing marketing initiatives
- Apply strong sales skills to create customer value and differentiate Hilton from competitors
- Demonstrate mastery of prospecting process, identify potential customers and prepare call strategies
- Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate customer specifications via lead management systems
