Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- formal culinary training or certification preferred
- minimum of 3 years experience in pastry production
- experience supervising kitchen staff
- knowledge of inventory management
- understanding of health and safety standards
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

- Proven experience as a pastry chef or in a similar leadership role
- proficiency in baking techniques and pastry preparation

Job Duties
- Supervising, coaching, training, and scheduling pastry cooks
- maintain standards and procedures to consistently conduct an accurate inventory
- ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
- oversee production of baked goods, desserts, and pastries
- develop new recipes and menu items
- collaborate with other culinary and hotel staff to ensure seamless operations
