Job Requirements

  • previous two plus years of general manager experience within a busy select service hotel or four plus years as an assistant general manager
  • proficiency with computer and office software
  • ability to communicate effectively via email
  • ability to manipulate and interpret data from spreadsheets and databases
  • experience with hotel information and accounting systems
  • premium brand experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • minimum two years general manager experience in a busy select service hotel
  • or four years experience as an assistant general manager
  • proficiency with hotel information systems and accounting systems
  • strong computer and office skills including effective email communication and spreadsheet/database analysis
  • proven leadership skills
  • experience working with premium hospitality brands preferred

Job Duties

  • focus on increasing revenue index, flex/flow, and guest satisfaction scores
  • develop plans for staff optimization and leadership mission clarity
  • build relationships with hotel ownership and corporate staff within the first 30 days
  • foster positive relationships with onsite sales, regional directors, and corporate sales & marketing leadership
  • balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
  • maintain and grow market share
  • lead customer service initiatives that enhance guest experiences
