Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure quality and standards are meeting guest and employee expectations including check-in/check-out processes
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Personally ensure VIP guests receive superb experience including room inspections and greeting upon arrival
- Review resumes for arriving groups and organize master accounts and special requests
- Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and operating equipment including ordering and receiving
- Ensure all Sonesta safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Respond to guest complaints and ensure proper follow-up
- Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts and respond to emergencies
- Prepare weekly work schedules aligned with staffing guidelines and adjust as needed
- Analyze guest satisfaction data to implement plans to improve scores
- Coordinate projects involving floor condensing and room inventory changes
- Achieve budgeted revenues and control labor costs and expenses
- Manage staffing levels to meet guest service, operational, and financial objectives
- Maintain security procedures for monies, credit, and guest transactions
- Participate in budget and forecasting processes
- Attract, hire, and motivate front office team
- Ensure staff training on systems, policies, and service standards
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and monitor employee performance
- Provide coaching and handle employee issues professionally
- Collaborate with various departments and corporate office resources
- Motivate employees and foster a culture aligned with Sonesta values
- Lead by example with integrity and respect
