Job Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving or similar roles preferred
- Possession or willingness to obtain Home Care Aid Registration
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to physically assist clients safely
- Excellent communication skills with a patient and respectful demeanor
- Comfort with small pets
- Commitment to client dignity and confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a companion, caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred
- Home Care Aid Registration or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Ability to lift and transfer clients and follow all health and safety guidelines
- Warm communication style, patience, and unwavering respect for client dignity
Job Duties
- Provide companionship through conversation, hobbies, games, and walks that spark joy and fight loneliness
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe mobility/exercise routines
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping
- Shop for groceries and essentials
- Remind clients to take prescriptions on schedule and document adherence
- Provide transportation to appointments, social events, or scenic drives
- Educate and reassure families by sharing safe-care tips and regular updates that build peace of mind
