Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in hospitality or food service is an advantage but not mandatory
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • must be able to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to carry up to 50 pounds
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • able to follow instructions accurately
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Clears, cleans, and resets tables and surrounding areas
  • carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
  • replenishes supply of clean silverware, glassware, dishes, and other utensils in dining room
  • stocks all cold food items on dining room buffet
  • replenishes coffee urns, milk and juice dispensers as needed
  • serves coffee and ice water refills to patrons
  • cleans and polishes equipment such as coffee urns, juice and milk dispenser, highchairs, booster seats and sneeze guards
  • conducts hall runs to pick up dishes and trays on guest floors
  • may assist in employee break room cleaning and stocking of food during employee lunch hours
  • responsible for guest relations and courtesy when asked for help, directions, or registering a complaint
  • supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company
  • required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge
  • all other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor
