Job Requirements

  • Must pass post-offer pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass a criminal history check including fingerprint records
  • Must pass post-offer physical assessment with accommodations
  • Must possess valid driver's license and maintain acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel for community events and meetings
  • Must be able to work a 40-hour alternate workweek schedule Monday through Thursday
  • Must reside within Oregon or Washington with telework complying with policy
  • Eligible for hybrid on-site telework based on department needs

Job Qualifications

  • At least four years of experience in event planning training coordination or community engagement
  • Demonstrated experience managing logistics for trainings meetings or outreach events
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain community and provider relationships
  • Proficiency with office software and digital coordination tools
  • Experience working with public agencies or nonprofits preferred
  • Knowledge of housing services and homelessness response systems preferred
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and equity frameworks preferred
  • Budget management skills preferred
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus

Job Duties

  • Plan and organize training opportunities for providers including Trauma-Informed Care and Medicaid Billing
  • Coordinate event logistics such as securing venues and ordering supplies
  • Attend and organize resource fairs and outreach events
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners for alignment of training efforts
  • Facilitate meetings and support training delivery
  • Manage training-related budgets and expenses
  • Assist with additional trainings and special projects as needed
