Job Requirements

At least 48 units of college credit or related experience in education, youth development, or community services
Preferably bilingual
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Live scan fingerprint and background check required
Proof of negative TB test within the last 2 years
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for the past three years
Must commute between sites
First Aid, CPR, and AED certified or willing to obtain within 30 days
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as necessary
Ability to establish partnerships to meet site and program requirements

Job Qualifications

Have at least 48 units of college credit from a two-year accredited college or related experience in education, youth development, or community services
Preferably bilingual
Knowledgeable in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
Strong supervisory and communication skills
Experience in community outreach and partnership building
Certified or able to obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications within 30 days
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as required for program activities
Ability to commute between sites

Job Duties

Uphold ethical standards by serving the community with character, integrity, dignity, and professionalism
Oversee and provide the Si Se Puede Community Center programs including the Afterschool Program and Resident Social Services ensuring compliance with site requirements
Review lesson plans, prepare materials, take attendance, and conduct daily program overviews
Enforce Afterschool Program behavior policies and safety procedures
Create and distribute monthly newsletters, calendars, and flyers for events and resources while conducting outreach to partnerships and residents
Foster a friendly and welcoming environment for community members and visitors
Maintain accurate record keeping and document retention systems, compiling comprehensive reports
Coordinate with community partners like Toys for Tots to organize special events and celebrations
