Job Requirements
- Some high school education or GED
- one to three years of customer service experience
- experience providing services to the homeless
- CPR/First-Aid certification
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to stand for long periods
- willingness to undergo drug testing as a safety-sensitive position

Job Duties
- Walk the neighborhood around SOME and pick up small trash
- properly dispose of all trash items in the SOME dumpster
- notify the city of large items that need to be picked up
- engage with neighborhood residents and answer questions about SOME, as needed
- oversee and run shower operations within the allotted time
- coordinate showers for Men and Transgender Men or Women and Transgender Women depending on assignments
- dispense hygiene items to clients and collect them after use
- wash and clean laundry items
- maintain and upkeep the waiting area
- maintain the cleanliness of ramps and outdoor areas
- clean bathroom stalls
- maintain statistics on shower usage
- monitor personal items as clients shower
- report any breakage
- report unsafe or violent situations in a professional manner
- assist with dining operations, as needed
- notify Public Safety employees when assistance is needed
