Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing
- Pre-employment background and fingerprint check
- Compliance with Community Code of Ordinances for working with children
- Preference given to qualified Community Member Veterans, Community Members, spouses of Community Members, and Native Americans with proper documentation
Job Qualifications
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Knowledge of community culture and government
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Creative problem-solving and innovation skills
- Basic knowledge of digital photography and video
Job Duties
- Assist the Community Relations Manager (Events) with planning, organizing, and coordinating community events
- Implement event logistics including décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, and security
- Ensure compliance with contracts, insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
- Conduct pre and post event evaluations and prepare reports
- Coordinate marketing efforts, public relations, and advertising for planned events
- Provide administrative and financial support including preparing financial reports and maintaining records
- Handle customer inquiries, office duties, and coordinate meeting logistics
