Job Description

The Community Partnership Coordinator plays a vital role within an established arts organization dedicated to promoting art and community engagement through various educational and outreach programs. This organization prides itself on fostering creative partnerships and delivering impactful arts education experiences across diverse community groups. The position is full-time, with scheduled hours from Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and includes occasional evening events to accommodate special community activities and programs. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in community outreach partnership building and project management
  • Demonstrated understanding of youth engagement and educational programming
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to manage budgets and track invoices
  • Capacity to engage people from diverse backgrounds
  • Physical ability to stand walk bend kneel and lift up to 60 pounds

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement monthly community outreach efforts including Art Together program
  • Coordinate relationships with existing and new community partners ensuring open communication and collaboration
  • Implement offsite programs at large community events to facilitate community engagement
  • Create and manage programs to engage area teens including Teen Advisory Board and Youth Gallery exhibitions
  • Lead Eastern Kansas Scholastic Art Awards and Congressional Art Awards exhibitions to recognize teen artists
  • Plan and execute special events such as Concerts on the Corner Open House and Art Market
  • Order approved supplies and provide event floor plans to Event Rental Manager
  • Maintain accurate records of community partner interactions contracts and outreach efforts
  • Assess effectiveness of community engagement initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing outreach impact and growth opportunities
  • Provide quarterly updates on community partnerships and track outreach budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative community engagement strategies
