Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Required paramedic licensure for state of employment
  • Ability to obtain Community Paramedicine certification, complete NEMSA Essentials Course, or obtain CP-C licensure within two years
  • Effective communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Paramedic licensure valid in state of employment
  • Ability to obtain Community Paramedicine certification or complete required courses within two years
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated coaching, leadership, and educational facilitation abilities
  • Familiarity with computer applications
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Previous trainer or instructor experience preferred
  • Previous critical care experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide high-acuity care in patient home settings for various acute conditions
  • Conduct physical and environmental assessments to evaluate patient safety and recovery factors
  • Maintain real-time communication and coordinate care with virtual healthcare teams
  • Respond to crisis situations and rapid response alerts providing necessary interventions
  • Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication, and care instructions
  • Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and communications in the electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure continuity of care
