Job Requirements
- Required licensure to perform as a Paramedic within the state of employment
- high school diploma or GED
- current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ability to obtain Community Paramedicine certification or complete required course within two years
- effective communication skills
- leadership and coaching capability
- basic computer proficiency

- valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

- ability to obtain Community Paramedicine (IBSC CP-C) certification or complete NEMSA Essentials Course or acquire CP-C licensure within two years

- valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Job Duties
- Provide high-acuity care in patient’s home setting for conditions such as infections, heart failure, pneumonia, and post-surgical recovery
- Conduct thorough physical exams and assess the home environment for safety and impact on care
- Serve as on-site extension of virtual care team maintaining communication with remote nurses and physicians
- Respond to crisis and rapid response alerts providing interventions based on hospital orders
- Deliver patient and caregiver education on disease management and treatment expectations
- Document all assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
