Job Requirements

  • Experience with volunteer recruitment and volunteer management
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, set priorities, manage time efficiently, and work independently
  • Ability to treat all office and client information with confidentiality
  • Intermediate computer and Microsoft skills
  • Respectful, open, unbiased, and accepting attitude toward clients and their families
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee recruitment, training, appreciation, coordination and management of volunteers within Yamhill County LCSNW programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with volunteer sources such as higher education institutions, businesses, service groups, schools, and churches
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of volunteer needs and report progress
  • Recruit volunteers through presentations, tours, recruitment events, and contacts
  • Ensure agency volunteerism remains highly visible in the county
  • Collaborate with Advancement Manager and Program Managers to support volunteer contributions and program workflows
  • Coordinate intern recruitment and volunteer training programs
  • Direct fundraising and special volunteer projects for large community groups
  • Recognize volunteers appropriately for their roles
