Job Requirements
- Live within the Inland Empire, preferably Riverside or Rancho Cucamonga
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to approach and connect with business owners
- Willingness to comply with Yelp Elite Squad eligibility and terms of membership
- Submit a cover letter outlining interest in Yelp and recent local business support
- Thrive in an autonomous, flexible schedule environment
Job Qualifications
- Three plus years of professional experience in event planning
- Social media management or marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in building business relationships
- Creative and autonomous work style
Job Duties
- Attend local events and build connections with business owners
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute Yelp events in the region
- Forge partnerships with local businesses for sponsorship and collaboration
- Support Yelp Elite Squad by engaging with their content and providing updates
- Research and curate local business collections for newsletters
- Build relationships with local organizations to reach new audiences
- Manage Yelp’s regional social media presence including copywriting and visual content creation
