Job Requirements

Live within the Inland Empire, preferably Riverside or Rancho Cucamonga
Be at least 21 years old
Have reliable transportation
Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
Submit a cover letter explaining interest in Yelp and recent local business supported
Meet Yelp Elite Squad eligibility and comply with Elite Terms of Membership
Not accept compensation for promoting businesses’ goods or services

Job Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in event planning, social media management, and/or marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage own schedule
Experience with social media content creation tools such as Canva
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Skilled at forging and maintaining business relationships
Enthusiastically knowledgeable about the Inland Empire region

Job Duties

Attend local events and build connections with local business owners
Conceptualize, plan, and execute Yelp events in the region
Forge mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses to sponsor events
Support the Yelp Elite Squad by engaging with their content and providing updates
Research and curate local business collections for the Local Yelp newsletter
Build relationships and partnerships with local organizations to reach new audiences
Manage Yelp’s regional social media presence including content creation and editing
