Job Requirements
- Live within the Inland Empire, preferably Riverside or Rancho Cucamonga
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Submit a cover letter outlining interest in Yelp and recent local business supported
- Meet Yelp Elite Squad eligibility requirements and comply with Elite Terms of Membership
- Prohibition on accepting compensation for promoting companies' goods or services
Job Qualifications
- Local expert on all things Inland Empire
- 3+ years of professional experience in event planning, social media management, and/or marketing
- Willingness to approach and connect with business owners to foster collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an autonomous work environment
- Creative freedom and initiative
- Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Job Duties
- Attend local events and build connections with local business owners
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute Yelp events in the region
- Forge mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses to sponsor events
- Support Yelp Elite Squad by engaging with their content and providing updates
- Research and curate local business collections for the Local Yelp newsletter
- Build relationships with local organizations to reach new audiences
- Manage the day-to-day curation and growth of Yelp's regional social media presence including copywriting and visual asset creation
