Job Requirements

Live within the Inland Empire, preferably in Riverside or Rancho Cucamonga
Be at least 21 years of age
Have reliable transportation
Ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
Willingness to approach and connect with business owners
Meet Yelp Elite Squad eligibility requirements and comply with Elite Terms of Membership
Submit a cover letter outlining interest in Yelp and highlighting a recent supported local business
Comply with Yelp’s conflict of interest guidelines and integrity standards

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of professional experience in event planning, social media management, or marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage schedule independently
Creativity and enthusiasm for community engagement
Experience using Canva or similar design tools
Familiarity with video editing software beneficial

Job Duties

Be the face of Yelp in the region by attending local events and building connections with business owners
Conceptualize, plan, and execute Yelp events in the Inland Empire
Forge mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses to sponsor Yelp events
Support Yelp Elite squad by engaging with their content and updating them on local happenings
Research and curate local business collections for the Local Yelp newsletter
Build partnerships with local organizations to reach new audiences
Manage Yelp’s regional Instagram presence, including copywriting, visual asset creation, and video editing
