Job Requirements
- reside in detroit, michigan, with reliable transportation
- at least 21 years of age
- have the bandwidth and flexibility to work 10-19 hours per week, monday through friday with some weekend potential
- ability to lift 10 pounds without assistance
- consider yourself a local expert with knowledge of area trends and love for small businesses
Job Qualifications
- current undergraduate student or recent college graduate, or equivalent experience
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- experience with social media copywriting and asset coordination
- experience and interest in planning and coordinating events
- well organized and detail oriented
- creative problem solver who understands yelp's applications
Job Duties
- work with community manager to understand market and prioritize effective messaging
- plan and execute community events including parties, local meet-ups, and happy hours
- create and organize social media content aligned with regional growth goals
- support maintenance of local online business listings by flagging photos, identifying alerts and scams, ensuring accurate business information
- engage with yelpers via app and website to support online community building
