Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • minimum 2 years experience in related field
  • credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field within 18 months of hire
  • experience with low-income and diverse families preferred
  • proficient use of computers and software including Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • ability to supervise children actively
  • bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social, human services, or health related field preferred
  • minimum of 2 years experience working with children and families in early childhood, school, or healthcare settings
  • experience with low-income and culturally diverse populations highly preferred
  • demonstrated skills in family services, community collaboration, and partnership development
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Guide and implement program governance for Early Childhood Development programs
  • develop and execute parent, family, and community engagement strategies
  • collaborate with Content Area Coordinators, Specialists, and Family Services Staff
  • promote school readiness and prepare children and families for success
  • supervise children by sight and sound at all times
  • maintain health and safety regulations in all learning environments
  • facilitate health practices to ensure safety during transportation and activities
