Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or equivalent experience preferred
- experience in nonprofit, volunteer engagement, and fundraising preferred
- supervisory experience a plus
- strong communication and organizational skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- experience with Canva, Constant Contact, and donor management software preferred
- ability to lift 40 pounds
- bilingual English-Spanish preferred
- must pass background check and drug screening
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- flexible availability including some evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or equivalent experience in communications, business, marketing, fundraising, public relations, social services, or related fields preferred
- nonprofit experience preferred
- volunteer engagement experience preferred
- fundraising experience preferred
- supervisory experience a plus
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication skills
- relationship-building skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, Constant Contact, and donor management software such as Donor Snap
- experience with social media posting and engagement
- ability to lift 40 pounds
- bilingual English-Spanish preferred
- must pass background check and drug screening
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Job Duties
- Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers
- plan and lead days of service
- track volunteer hours and maintain policies
- increase volunteer retention and engagement
- recognize volunteer contributions
- create outreach materials and maintain engagement database
- represent organization at events and speaking opportunities
- cultivate partnerships and donor-based opportunities
- organize community fundraisers aiming to raise at least $100,000 annually
- co-lead development of monthly newsletters
- lead peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns
- secure funding from civic organizations and local groups
- support special events as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
- act as mandated reporter of elder and child abuse
