Job Requirements

  • Planning and hosting 2-4 events per month for residents in the apartment community
  • providing a caring touch to residents and staff
  • inviting residents to share online about their experience
  • administering monthly program elements including calendars, flyers, social media, budget, and summaries
  • engaging volunteers, vendors, and community partners
  • visiting new and ending-lease residents
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • event planning experience
  • availability for evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements and reports
  • possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance
  • have reliable transportation
  • be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
  • have availability to commit weekly hours to job responsibilities
  • be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community

Job Duties

  • Planning and hosting 2-4 events per month for residents in the apartment community
  • providing a caring touch to residents and staff with support from other residents and community networks
  • inviting residents to share online about their experience in the community to enhance online reputation
  • administering the program by developing monthly calendars, event flyers, social media posts, managing budgets, and preparing monthly summaries
  • meeting with staff for planning and program director for equipping and development
  • engaging a support team of volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize budget and impact
  • visiting new residents shortly after move-in and residents near the end of their lease to invite connection to the community
