The Plymouth Community Center is a vibrant facility dedicated to serving the community by providing versatile event spaces designed to host a wide variety of gatherings. These include weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, parties, and other special events. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to move and set up tables, chairs, and sounds system equipment
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with people of diverse cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds

Job Duties

  • Oversee the Plymouth Community Center Event Wing in the absence of full-time staff
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact person for events including wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, and corporate meetings
  • Maintain and communicate rental policies and procedures to internal and external customers
  • Assist catering with questions during events
  • Oversee the daily event schedule to ensure proper room setups and customer needs are met
  • Monitor the building and grounds to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist full-time staff in tasks including rentals, events, programs, projects, and customer service
