Job Requirements
- Live within 30 minutes of Madison city center
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have reliable transportation
- Availability to work 19 hours per week
- No conflict of interest such as owning or being affiliated with businesses that compete with Yelp
- Meet Yelp Elite Squad eligibility requirements and comply with Elite Terms of Membership
- Must not accept compensation for promoting any company’s products or services
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in event planning or community engagement preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of Madison's local businesses and culture
Job Duties
- Be the face of Yelp in the region by attending local events and building relationships with business owners and community organizers
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute Yelp events in the region
- Engage with the local Yelp Elite Squad online and offline by hosting Elite events and keeping them informed about city happenings
- Build Yelp collections for the local newsletter featuring weekly themes that highlight local businesses
- Manage the day-to-day curation and growth of Yelp's local social media presence across Instagram and Twitter
