Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in communications installation
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to attend in-person hiring event at DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond Airport
- Ability to provide own hand tools
- Ability to wear company-provided and personal safety equipment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 60 feet
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Demonstrated experience and ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license to operate equipment with training
Job Duties
- Installation of category rated copper and fiber optic cable
- Terminating and testing of horizontal copper cabling
- Terminating fiber optic cable via anaerobic, mechanical and fusion splicing
- Termination and splicing of copper riser cable
- Installation of panels, enclosures and electronics
- Labeling of communications systems including cable, panels, and electronics
- Installation of interior conduit and surface mount raceway systems
