Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • preferred masters of education
  • preferred experience leading special projects, operations, and building community partnerships
  • experience with branding, social media, public relations, and/or project management
  • ability to work flexible hours and/or create a system for capturing district special events for media promotion

Job Duties

  • Capture school activities and events through professional photography
  • manage the school’s social media platforms with engaging, informative content
  • create and distribute weekly newsletters and manage outgoing email communications
  • coordinate short- and long-term planning for school-wide events
  • maintain and regularly update the school website and shared calendar, ensuring events do not conflict
  • develop event themes, logistics, and promotional materials such as flyers, signage, and newsletters
  • handle vendor coordination, booking, and logistics for catering, A/V, setup, and décor
  • design visuals, flyers, and branded content
  • keep current with best practices in school communications and event planning
  • work directly with cabinet members, district and school leaders to highlight and promote positive narratives about district activities
  • develop and/or coordinate special projects, events, and community partners in support of student opportunities and experiences
  • perform other duties consistent with specific contractual terms of employment, as assigned by appropriate staff
