Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, public relations, journalism or related field
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Exceptional writing, public speaking and listening skills
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and view computer screens for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to potentially violent or irate patients and chemical or infectious agents
- Must follow federal, state, and local health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business administration, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field
- 2 years of experience in internal communications, public relations, or a similar role
- Experienced with Microsoft Office suite, especially Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Introductory knowledge of website editing with WordPress or similar CMS
- Familiarity with internal communication platforms such as Paylocity and intranet
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Proficiency with survey tools like SurveyMonkey or Office Forms
- Exceptional communication abilities including writing, public speaking and active listening
- Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and with community members
Job Duties
- Create and implement a variety of communication materials
- Act as a liaison between human resources, marketing, and C-Suite departments to foster collaboration
- Research and implement internal and external communications platforms, channels, guidelines, and practices
- Communicate effectively to employees regarding all events, rollouts, campaigns using Paylocity, email, and text message tools
- Serve as a representative of Palms with community partners and company events
- Monitor and drive Paylocity employee recognition channels to support milestones and achievements
- Design, publish, and distribute the annual Palms yearbook of employee photos, events, and accomplishments
- Assist and support the bi-annual employee survey process
- Research and develop internal stories, newsletters and meeting presentations to promote Palms services, projects and accomplishments
- Communicate the Palms story passionately to build strong internal alignment and meaningful community support
- Lead and participate in various internal teams to collaborate on campaigns and employee engagement
- Perform other duties as requested by the Marketing Director, CAO, or CEO
