Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Maintain a valid Food Handler's Card
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Commitment to food safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior professional pastry experience or completion of a pastry program preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Maintain a valid Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to understand and speak basic English
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality
  • Strong team collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Operate spiral mixer and paddle mixer
  • Perform finishing pastry and use sheeter
  • Accurately scale and bench dough
  • Maintain and understand all equipment in commissary pastry
  • Take an active role in quality control
  • Communicate equipment issues, supply concerns, and maintenance needs
  • Follow food safety requirements including GMP, HAACP, and food defense
