Job Requirements

- Specialized experience relevant to grade level applied for
- Federal time-in-grade requirements for promotions

Job Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level for GS-11
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level for GS-12
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level for GS-13
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level for GS-14
- Ph.D., doctoral degree, or equivalent graduate education for GS-11 may be substituted
- Knowledge of retail procurement and distribution methods
- Experience in retail food merchandising and store management
- Ability to develop and implement operating standards
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Manage all commissary departments including grocery, meat, produce, and deli-bakery
- Oversee store operations and provide managerial support
- Supervise and lead store employees
- Develop and apply policies, procedures, and operating standards for the commissary
- Plan and control retail food procurement and distribution
- Offer technical advice on merchandising and operational matters
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards
