Job Requirements
- Less than 2 years of experience acceptable
- No prior supervisory experience required
- Ability to work full-time during specified shift hours
- Capacity to follow standardized recipes and production schedules
- Adherence to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Must be able to handle bulk cooking and operate cooking equipment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant cooking or food production experience preferred
- Serve Safe certification preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong reasoning skills with speed and attention to detail
- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Produce bulk standardized recipes and cook food items following specified procedures
- Process, pump, chill, and package food items using specialized cooking tanks, food pumps, and blast chillers
- Follow HACCP, FSMA, GMP, and food code regulations consistently
- Complete production and quality control records and reports as required by company and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with ingredient control personnel to ensure adherence to recipes and maintain yield specifications
- Monitor safety, environmental, and visual audits throughout shift, taking corrective actions when necessary
- Adhere to the production schedule set by the Chef or Production Manager in a timely manner
