Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in food preparation or production preferred
  • Ability to adhere to food safety standards and procedures
  • Capability to operate kitchen utensils and equipment safely
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, twist, and lift over 40 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare various food prep products
  • Operate a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment for weighing, measuring, mixing, etc
  • Follow recipes and product directions for proper food preparation
  • Prep foods using methods of peeling, cutting, slicing, straining, stirring, or kneading
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, and stock rotation and checking product temperatures
  • Receive food and beverage product supplies and stock areas as needed
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Assist with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed
  • Perform other duties as required by management
