Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen or relevant catering qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • A genuine passion for pastry and a strong desire to learn and develop
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Support the pastry chef in preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of desserts and pastries
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
  • Assist with stock control, rotation, and ordering of ingredients
  • Contribute ideas for new menus and seasonal creations
  • Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
