Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or culinary settings
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation procedures
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- good physical condition to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- willingness to comply with uniform and PPE policies
- strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- ability to work flexible hours as required by business needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- basic culinary skills including knife handling and cooking techniques
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- physical ability to perform required duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- willingness to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- Schedule and assign daily work assignments to food service team
- train and guide staff on job duties, food safety, sanitation, and cooking methods
- cook and prepare a variety of food according to standardized recipes and production guidelines
- set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- safely utilize kitchen utensils including knives
- operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- bake, roast, broil, steam, and apply various cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods
- arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
- properly store food adhering to food safety policies
- clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- adhere to safety policies and ensure security of company assets
