Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

- Proven experience in a similar Sous Chef role
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of menu development and cost control
- Experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Commitment to high-quality food production and presentation
Job Duties
- Comply with food health and safety regulations and sanitation policies
- Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Maintain policies of cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Follow proper food handling, holding, re-heating, and cooling procedures
- Be present in the kitchen and assigned station as required
- Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate supervisors
- Perform daily prep and assigned duties to meet quality standards
- Produce work according to deadlines and assist others
- Ensure production, preparation, and presentation of food meet high-quality standards
- Maintain full awareness of menu items, recipes, production methods, and presentation standards
- Operate and maintain line equipment and report malfunctions
- Participate in menu creation while maintaining food cost and quality
- Check station standards including labels, dates, and proper food storage
- Consult with Sous Chef and Executive Chef on daily requirements, service, and events
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- Provide daily feedback and report issues as they arise
