Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other food items
  • Assist the chef with basic cooking tasks and food preparation
  • Receive and properly store deliveries, checking expiration dates and stock rotation
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and follow recycling procedures
  • Follow all hygiene and food safety standards
  • Keep the kitchen organized and tidy during the shift
  • Help with opening and closing duties, including kitchen setup and cleaning
