Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and work surfaces
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other food items
- Assist the chef with basic cooking tasks and food preparation
- Receive and properly store deliveries, checking expiration dates and stock rotation
- Dispose of kitchen waste and follow recycling procedures
- Follow all hygiene and food safety standards
- Keep the kitchen organized and tidy during the shift
- Help with opening and closing duties, including kitchen setup and cleaning
