Job Requirements
- License property and casualty (ANY state)
- Minimum of 4 years of customer service representative experience in commercial lines with an independent insurance agency
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, or some college/no degree
- License property and casualty (FL preferred)
- Management system Hawksoft
- Computer skills DocuSign, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, Zoom
Job Duties
- Handle daily service needs including answering the commercial department phone line, endorsements, inspections, audits, payments and certificates of insurance that require endorsements
- Manage small commercial renewals including underwriting updates, applications, marketing, risk analysis, proposals and binding
- Assist with the management of the large commercial business renewal process by collaborating with the Producer on updating applications, marketing, analysis of coverage, creating proposals and the binding process
- Prepare and process premium finance contracts
- Follow up on commercial claims, update assigned Producers on large account issues and resolve small commercial claims issues per contract
- Maintain accurate documentation and account records in the agency management system Hawksoft
- Collaborate with internal team members and work with virtual assistants to ensure smooth account handling
