Job Requirements
- no formal education required as long as other position qualifications are met
- no licensure or certification required
- one year of experience as a cashier or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- ability to work full time onsite during day shifts
- compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- capability to handle cashless point-of-sale transactions
Job Qualifications
- one year of experience as a cashier or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- prior work experience in a fast-paced retail setting preferred
- previous experience as a coffee shop barista highly desired
- strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Job Duties
- deliver the Starbucks experience by connecting and engaging with customers and fellow baristas
- anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues
- assist customers in the selection and purchase of handcrafted specialty beverages and food/snack sales
- provide quality handcrafted beverages and food products by adhering to all standard procedures and recipes as well as following order customizations
- follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
- complete point of sales transactions using Starbucks mobile pay system or debit/credit card
- assist in the maintenance of vendor products through cleaning, stocking, organizing and other customer support activities in the dining areas and kitchen
